Lars Mikkelsen, Anna Schudt win International Emmys for acting

Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Ride Upon the Storm star Lars Mikkelsen and Anna Schudt from The Sniffles Would Have Been Just Fine won the International Emmys for Best Actor and Actress in New York Monday night.

Etgar Keret: Based on a True Story earned the prize for Best Arts Programming, while Nevsu was named Best Comedy and Goodbye Aleppo was deemed Best Documentary.

Money Heist was voted Best Drama, El Vato -- Season 2 scored the statuette for Non-English Language U.S. Primetime Program and Did You Get The Message? won the Emmy for Non-Scripted Entertainment.

The Payback earned the title for Best Telenovela, Man in an Orange Shirt won for TV Movie/Mini-Series and The Suspended Mourning was honored in the Short-Form Series category.

Comedian Hari Kondabolu hosted the gala at the New York Hilton.
