Amazon orders Season 6 of 'Bosch,' starring Titus Welliver

Nov. 14 (UPI) -- Amazon Prime Video announced Wednesday it has ordered a sixth season of Bosch, its detective drama starring Titus Welliver.

"Bosch is a customer and critical favorite and Amazon Prime members are fans of this long-running series that delivers strong storytelling, complex characters, and exceptional performances," Albert Cheng, co-head of television at Amazon Studios, said in a statement.

The show is based on Michael Connelly's popular novels. Co-starring Jamie Hector, Amy Aquino, Madison Lintz and Lance Reddick, Season 5 is slated to air next year.

"I'm on the set where we are wrapping up the filming of Season 5, and now this great news that we get to do it again with a sixth season. Can't wait!" Connelly said.
