June 22 (UPI) -- Luke Cage star Mike Colter is going to be a dad of two.
The 41-year-old actor and pregnant wife Iva Colter attended the Netflix show's Season 2 premiere Thursday in New York.
Colter and Iva walked the red carpet at the Edison Ballroom, where Iva showed off her baby bump in a form-fitting yellow dress. Colter cradled his wife's growing belly as they posed for photos.
"We are feeling happy but a bit nervous as well. It's a new member of the family," the actor told People.
"While it will shift focus for us again, our daughter will probably be affected the most, so we are making sure she feels comfortable and excited with the change to our growing family," he added.
Colter and Iva are parents to 3-year-old daughter Naiella, and are expecting another daughter. Colter told Us Weekly Iva is six months along in her pregnancy.
"We actually wanted another girl so we are very excited," the star said.
"[We're] talking about baby names," he added before joking, "It consists of Iva suggesting baby names, while I shoot them down. I'll know it when I hear it!"
Colter plays the titular character on Luke Cage, which returned for a second season Friday on Netflix. The series co-stars Simone Missick, Rosario Dawson and Alfre Woodard.
