Blackpink's Lisa makes solo debut with 'Lalisa'

Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Thai singer and rapper Lisa is making her solo debut.

The 24-year-old recording artist, aka Lalisa Manobal, released a single and music video Friday for the song "Lalisa."

The "Lalisa" video shows Lisa sing and dance at a number of locations, including a city-inspired set and a desert. She is also seen pole dancing with backup dancers.

"Lalisa" appears on Lisa's debut single album of the same name. The album also features the song "Money."

Lisa came to fame with and is a member of the South Korean girl group Blackpink. Blackpink's Jennie previously made her solo debut with the single "Solo" in 2018, while Rosé released the single album -R- in March.

Blackpink consists of Lisa, Jennie, Rosé and Jisoo. The group released its debut studio album, The Album, in October.
