Beck, Cage the Elephant announce joint summer tour

Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Beck and band Cage the Elephant have announced a joint North American summer tour.

The Night Running Tour is set to kick off on July 11 at the Sunlight Supply Amphitheater in Ridgefield, Wash. before wrapping up on Aug. 30 at the Coral Sky Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Beck and Cage the Elephant will also be performing in cities such as Las Vegas, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas, St. Louis, Chicago, Detroit, Indianapolis, Toronto and New York, among others.

Spoon will be joining Beck and Cage the Elephant on all concert dates. Starcrawler, Sunflower Bean and Wild Belle will also be taking the stage on select dates.

Tickets go on sale for the general public starting on Feb. 15 at 10 a.m. local time through Live Nation. A dollar from every ticket sold will be donated back into each city they are playing in to help local food initiatives.

Beck won the Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album on Sunday for Colors. Beck was also nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance, but lost to Lady Gaga.
