'Fantastic Beasts' tops the North American box office with $62.2M

Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is the No. 1 movie in North America this week, earning $62.2 million in receipts, BoxOfficeMojo.com announced Sunday.

Coming in at No. 2 is Dr. Seuss' The Grinch with $38.2 million, followed by Bohemian Rhapsody at No. 3 with $15.7 million, Instant Family at No. 4 with $14.7 million and Widows at No. 5 with $12.3 million.

Rounding out the top tier are The Nutcracker and the Four Realms at No. 6 with $4.7 million, A Star is Born at No. 7 with $4.4 million, Overlord at No. 8 with $3.9 million, The Girl in the Spider's Web: A New Dragon Tattoo Story at No. 9 and Nobody's Fool at No. 10 with $2.3 million.
