Dec. 18 (UPI) -- Bethenny Frankel is feeling "so grateful" as she recovers from an allergic reaction that nearly left her dead.
The 48-year-old television personality shared her experience in a series of tweets Monday after spending two days in the hospital.
"I have rare fish allergy. Sun, I had soup, itched & was unconscious for 15 mins then to ER & ICU for 2 days w BP of 60/40," Frankel wrote. "I couldn't talk, see, thought I had a stroke & dying & told if 5 mins later I'd be dead."
"911 & EPI saved me," she told fans. "I'll never not carry an #epipen @newtonwellesley xo."

Frankel was treated at Newton-Wellesley Hospital near Boston, Mass. She credited the hospital and her new boyfriend with saving her life.
"He saved my life," the star tweeted in response to a fan who mentioned her new beau.
"That is the best hospital I have ever been to and I am so grateful," she added.
The Real Housewives star said she is "making changes" in her life in light of her rare allergy to non-shellfish.
"It'ss very unusual & confusing so I keep it to myself bc it is hard to describe," she explained Tuesday of previously keeping her allergy quiet.
