June 15 (UPI) -- Matt Bomer and Andrew Rannells cozied up on Thursday's episode of Watch What Happens Live.

Bomer, 40, and Rannells, 39, shared a smooch during a game of "Uncomfortably Close" on the Bravo series.

"Uncomfortably Close" required Bomer and Rannells to get increasingly close as they asked each other a series of questions. The pair are longtime friends who presently co-star in the Broadway play The Boys in the Band.

"When was the last time you brushed your teeth?" Rannells asked Bomer while inches away from the actor's face.

"Umm, more recently than you," Bomer jokingly responded.

Host Andy Cohen insisted Rannells and Bomer remain close for the full 60 seconds. The pair kissed after the game ended with Bomer asking Rannells his favorite movie.

"Tootsie!" the actor answered.

Bomer has appeared in two seasons of the Ryan Murphy series American Horror Story on FX. Murphy is producing the new production of The Boys in the Band, which centers on a group of gay men who gather for a friend's birthday party.
