May 19 (UPI) -- The new titles for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were announced in a statement on Saturday.
"The Queen has today been pleased to confer a Dukedom on Prince Henry of Wales. His titles will be Duke of Sussex, Earl of Dumbarton and Baron Kilkeel," the statement said. "Prince Harry thus becomes His Royal Highness The Duke of Sussex, and Ms. Meghan Markle on marriage will become Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex."
Harry, whose real name is Henry, is the grandson of Queen Elizabeth II and the younger son of Prince Charles and his late, ex-wife, Princess Diana. Harry is to marry Markle in a morning ceremony at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.
