May 15 (UPI) -- Gwyneth Paltrow shared a rare photo of lookalike daughter Apple on her 14th birthday.
The 45-year-old actress dedicated a sweet post to Apple, her elder child with ex-husband Chris Martin, on the teenager's birthday Monday.
The photo gives a close-up glimpse of Apple's face as she shows a slight smile for the camera. Paltrow couldn't help but gush about her daughter in the caption.
"Happy birthday, my darling girl. You make everyday feel like Christmas morning," the star wrote.

"You are the most vibrant, hilarious, twirling all over the place, beautiful (inside and out) young woman," she said. "You are an amazing thinker and an incredible songwriter. Thanks for still hanging out with me, even though you are 14."
Paltrow is also parent to 12-year-old son Moses with Martin. She said in an interview with Today in June 2017 that Apple's teenage years have been "pretty smooth" so far, although her daughter sometimes exhibits typical teen behavior.
"I have to say, so far, Apple, she's pretty great," the actress said.
"She's like, 'Can you close my door?' and I'm like, 'Wait. With me on the other side?' But other than that, it's pretty smooth so far," she added.
Paltrow and Martin split in 2014 after 10 years of marriage. Paltrow announced her engagement to producer Brad Falchuk in January, and said on Good Morning America this month she's enjoying wedding planning.
