Jan. 2 (UPI) -- Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are considering legal action against a Pizzagate conspiracy theorist.

The 32-year-old model and 39-year-old singer spoke out Saturday after a Twitter user linked their family to Pizzagate, a debunked online theory that connects a Washington, D.C., pizzeria with child sex trafficking.

The Twitter user posted photos of Teigen and Legend's daughter, Luna, to suggest the couple were trafficking the 8-month-old to a pedophilia ring. The pictures showed Luna dressed as a hot dog and Alice in Wonderland, as well as Teigen using a pizza emoji.

"Alright. I debated saying something about this but I'm pretty disturbed over here. The fact that there are people with these...thoughts...is really scary," the model tweeted in response.

"...apparently dressing my daughter as Alice in Wonderland and a hot dog and having a pizza emoji on Snapchat has to do with pizzagate and being uhhhh darksided," she added. "Yeah yeah it's 'just Twitter' but I'm pretty sure this *sick* person is saying we are darksided pizzagate pedophiles who traffic our daughter."

Teigen later addressed the Twitter user personally, saying, "You need to apologize to me. Now." She also asked her followers if they know "any good lawyers," something Legend echoed on his own account.

"You need to take my family's name out of your mouth before you get sued," the singer told the Twitter user.

Teigen and Legend welcomed Luna in April 2016. The couple announced in November that they are expecting their second child, a baby boy, in 2018.
