Jan. 29 (UPI) -- The Missile Defense Agency has awarded a contract to Decisive Analytics Corporation for services in support of cybersecurity compliance and risk management support.
The deal, announced Friday by the Department of Defense, is valued at $59.4 million under a competitive cost-plus-fixed-fee contract.
The contract provides "improved independent verification and validation analysis and reporting of the Ballistic Missile Defense System and Enterprise cybersecurity controls," according to the Pentagon.
Decisive will be focused on expanding cybersecurity knowledge for system architecture, life cycles and authorization decisions for the Missile Defense Agency.
Work on the contract will occur in Colorado Springs, Colo., and Huntsville, Ala., and is expected to be completed in April 2023.
The MDA has obligated $833,600 to Decisive Analytics Corporation at the time of the award from fiscal 2018 research, development, test and evaluation funds.
