A 13-year veteran, the 35-year-old Majerle played the first seven years of his career with the Suns, enjoying his best success. During his tenure in Phoenix, the 6-6 swingman earned three trips to the All-Star Game (1992, 1993, 1995).

In both 1992 and 1993, Majerle led the league in three-pointers made. He also gained a spot on the NBA All-Defensive second team in 1991 and 1993.

Majerle left the Suns on Oct. 7, 1995 after being traded to the Cleveland Cavailers. He spent one season with the Cavailers before signing with Miami prior to the 1996-97 season.

Slowed by injuries in recent years, Majerle filled a backup role with the Heat last season, where he averaged just 5.0 points per contest in 53 games.

In his career, Majerle has averaged 11.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.0 assists while shooting 36 percent from three-point range.
