ChICAGO -- Michael Jordan scored 35 points and Horace Grant added 22 Saturday night, enabling the Chicago Bulls to extend their winning streak to 13 with a 114-100 triumph over the Houston Rockets.

Chicago will try to match their franchise record of 14 wins set earlier this season when they visit San Antonio Tuesday.

The Bulls have won 12 straight at the Chicago Stadium, where they are a league-best 21- 2.

Houston jumped out to a 6-2 lead, but the Bulls used a 14-0 run in a 20-2 spurt to take a 20-8 advantage late in the first quarter. The Rockets closed within 34-30 early in the second quarter, but Chicago mounted another 14-2 spree to put the game out of reach.

Scottie Pippen added 16 for the Bulls. Hakeem Olajuwon and Vernon Maxwell finished with 17 points apiece for the Rockets.
