CHICAGO -- Michael Jordan led eight teammates in double figures with 22 points Wednesday night, and the Chicago Bulls coasted to a 129- 107 blowout of the Atlanta Hawks for their ninth consecutive win overall and 25th in a row at home.

The Bulls became the first NBA team to reach the 50-win this season, improving their record to 50-15. They are 30-3 at Chicago Stadium on the season.

Dominique Wilkins led all scorers with 28 points, while John Battle had 22 for Atlanta, coming off a 104-92 upset of Boston the previous night.

Horace Grant added 20 points for the Bulls, while Bill Cartwright had 14, B.J. Armstrong 13, Cliff Levingston 12, Stacey King 11, and John Paxson and Scottie Pippen 10 apiece.

The Bulls built a 13-point advantage by halftime, and the Hawks could only get as close as 10 the rest of the way, the last time at 83-73 with 1:20 left in third quarter. Jordan had 13 in the period, including a 3- pointer during a 7-0 run that followed to put the Bulls safely in front 90-73.

Jordan, for the second straight game, sat on the bench the entire fourth quarter.

The Bulls led 31-25 after the first quarter, in which they shot 65 percent from the field. Cartwright had 10 points in the period. The Hawks connected on just 11 of their first 28 shots (39 percent).

Ahead 31-28 early in the second quarter, Armstrong came off the bench to hit three straight baskets in an 8-0 run that extended the lead into double digits for good. Former Hawk Levingston also provided a spark off the bench, hitting two straight baskets late in the quarter to build the margin to 16.

A 3-pointer by Wilkins just before halftime brought Atlanta within 60-47 at the break. The Bulls shot 64 percent in the first half, compared to 39 percent by Atlanta.
