BARRINGTON, Ill. -- Champ Corp. has acquired the Pennsylvania Malleable Iron Division of Gulf & Western with plants in Lancaster and Landisville, Pa.
Champ will operate the unit as a wholly-owned subsidiary under the name of Pennsylvania Malleable and Ductile Castings Inc., Champ Corp. President Michael P. Murray said.
Champ supplies castings and machined parts for the truck, automotive, defense, chemical and petroleum industries; construction and capital equipment and valves and pumps. It also produces and markets finished products for the sporting goods, hardware, clothing and wood stove industries.
