UNITED NATIONS -- Eduardo Roca, Argentine ambassador to the United Nations, returned to Buenos Aires to be treated for high blood pressure and exhaustion, Argentine sources said Thursday.

Roca assumed his post only days before the Argentine invasion of the Falklands Islands. His post temporarily is being filled by Arnoldo Listre.

Though the day-to-day negotiations with U.N. Secretary-General Javier Perez de Cuellar were undertaken by Argentine Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs Enrique Ros and Listre, Roca has been deeply involved in the handling of the crisis.
