NEW DELHI, Oct. 14 (UPI) -- Russia and India are expected to sign an agreement for Moscow to deliver state-of-the-art S-400 Triumf anti-aircraft weapon systems and for joint production of 200 Kamov 226T helicopters.
The deal, worth well over $1 billion, is expected to amplify India'a defense systems and replace the country's aging helicopter fleet. President Vladimir Putin and India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet on the sidelines of the annual BRICS summit between Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa to finalize agreements.
