MOSUL, Iraq, Oct. 3 (UPI) -- On Friday, the Islamic State -- also known as ISIS or ISIL -- released a new video that reportedly shows the beheading of British aid worker Alan Henning. Before he is beheaded, Henning speaks to the camera and references the United Kingdom's decision to join the bombing campaign against IS.

If the video is confirmed to be true, it will be the fourth time the terror group has beheaded a Westerner.

The group has killed Americans Steven Sotloff and James Foley and British aid worker David Haines.

The video, called "Another message to America and its Allies" a man wearing all black and speaking in what appears to be a British accent forces Henning to read a statement -- like in the previous videos.

At the end of the video, another hostage -- reported to be American Peter Kassig -- is shown and threatened with beheading next.

Last week, Henning's wife -- Barbara Henning -- pleaded for her husband's life. Her pleas were joined by Muslims around the world.

Henning -- a taxi driver who went to Syria to help -- was kidnapped by IS the day after Christmas.

British Prime Minister David Cameron said of Henning's beheading, "The brutal murder of Alan Henning by ISIL shows just how barbaric and repulsive these terrorists are."

Cameron vowed to bring the killers to justice.

In a statement President Barack Obama said:

The United States strongly condemns the brutal murder of United Kingdom citizen Alan Henning by the terrorist group ISIL. Mr. Henning worked to help improve the lives of the Syrian people and his death is a great loss for them, for his family and the people of the United Kingdom. Standing together with our UK friends and allies, we will work to bring the perpetrators of Alan's murder — as well as the murders of Jim Foley, Steven Sotloff and David Haines — to justice. Standing together with a broad coalition of allies and partners, we will continue taking decisive action to degrade and ultimately destroy ISIL.
