BUENOS AIRES, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- A new soccer stadium in Argentina will be named in honor of Pope Francis, the San Lorenzo soccer club announced Wednesday.

The new stadium will be built in the Bodeo neighborhood of Buenos Aires on land that once belonged to the team but was seized when the military ruled from 1976 to 1983.
