ANKARA, Turkey, June 3 (UPI) -- Turkey's Telecommunications Directorate has made YouTube accessible to Turkish users again.
Access to YouTube was restored on Tuesday after the Constitutional Court ruled that banning the website was a violation of freedom of speech.

The ban, in place for 67 days, was implemented by the Turkish government after a sensitive video allegedly showing officials discussing a military incursion into Syria was leaked online by an anonymous user on March 27.
A similar ban on the micro-blogging site Twitter was also deemed a violation of free speech by the Constitutional Court.
