"The international community should not remain silent before incitement," he said.

Lieberman, in August and September, urged the international community to help oust Abbas, calling him an "obstacle to peace" and leader of a "corrupt regime."

On the sidelines of the recent United Nations General Assembly, Lieberman met with foreign ministers, telling them there is no chance for peace as long as Abbas remains in power. He also accused Abbas of making a hateful and inflammatory speech against Israel at the General Assembly, Ynetnews.com said.

Senior Israeli officials criticized the foreign minister for his remarks, accusing him of harming Israeli interests.
