Suspects arrested in grenade attack

MUHANGA, Rwanda, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Police say they have arrested two suspects in connection with a grenade blast in southern Rwanda which injured 10 people.

The blast, which took place late Tuesday in a transportation facility in Muhanga, is another in a series of grenade attacks across the country in the last few years, the Voice of America reported

In early January, a grenade attack killed two and injured 16 in the capital city of Kigali. No suspects have been arrested in connection with that blast, the VOA said.

The government has blamed the grenade attacks on various rebel groups as well as former military officers that have been exiled.
