Three NATO troops killed in Afghanistan

KABUL, Afghanistan, Dec. 3 (UPI) -- A roadside bomb in eastern Afghanistan exploded Saturday, killing three International Security Assistance Force soldiers, officials say.

Officials have not released the nationalities of the victims in accordance the Nato-led ISAF's policy, the BBC reported.

No other details of the incident were immediately available.

More than 500 NATO troops have been in Afghanistan this year, the report said, with much of the worst fighting happening in the eastern part of the country, near the Pakistan border.
