ROME, Oct. 4 (UPI) -- The family of Meredith Kercher said they were "stunned" by the verdict clearing Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito of her 2007 murder in Italy.
The family said they would continue to seek justice for Kercher, and said they believe Rudy Guede -- who is serving 16 years in jail for the death -- wasn't the only person responsible, the Italian news agency ANSA reported Tuesday.
"Our family is not interested in seeing Amanda or Raffaele in jail, or anyone else who has shown they aren't guilty," Kercher's sister Stephanie said. "But there's still the question mark over who else (committed the murder) as well as Rudy."
Kercher allegedly died during a sex game gone wrong in the apartment she shared with Knox. Guede's DNA was found throughout the scene of the crime and investigators said they believed he didn't act alone.
Knox and ex-boyfriend Sollecito were initially found guilty of the murders, but were acquitted of the charges Monday after nearly four years in prison.
