PARIS, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- A flight into Paris was shaken by violent air turbulence Wednesday, and 24 people were injured, authorities said.
The injuries aboard the Vietnam Airlines flight ranged from bruises to broken bones, Radio France Internationale reported. Eight people were hospitalized after landing, while the rest were treated at the airport.

The exact nature of the turbulence and the cause of the injuries had yet to be determined.
It was not clear whether the victims were passengers or crew.
