Aug. 7 (UPI) -- A reward of $35,000 is being offered for information leading to the capture of an arsonist who's burned two New England Jewish centers.

Investigators say the fires were set on two days in May in the Boston suburbs of Arlington and Needham, Mass.

The FBI said surveillance cameras captured a man near both centers around times of the fires.

"Two families shared not only their religious faith but the expectation of feeling safe in their own homes, were visited by menacing intentions," Joseph Bonavolonta, special agent in charge of thebureau's Boston field office, said.

The FBI is offering $20,000 and the Anti-Defamation League New England $15,000 for the arsonist's capture.

"Although surveillance video has given us a promising start to this investigation, it will be the public's eyes that help us bring justice home to them."

The FBI, Arlington and Needham police and Massachusetts state troopers are all on the case.
