May 20 (UPI) -- Three inmates escaped from the Orangeburg County Detention Center in South Carolina, the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office said early Sunday.

Authorities are looking for Tyshon Demontrea Johnson, 27; Curtis Ray Green, 20; and Christopher Shannon Boltin, 27, the sheriff's office said in a Facebook post. The sheriff's office was alerted to a potential escape before 10 p.m. Saturday

Johnson and Green were in the jail on murder charges, while Bolton faces a carjacking and grand larceny charge. Johnson is one of three people charged in the September 2017 killing of Lamont Shuler, 24, according to The Times and Democrat. Green was charged in the March 2015 shooting death of Trajan Jenkins, the newspaper reported.

The sheriff's office considers all three dangerous.

Anyone with information about the inmates or their whereabouts can call the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office at 803-534-3550.
