The event is scheduled to begin at 12:15 p.m. EST.

Trump will visit with the team in the East Room of the White House.

The team will likely present Trump with a jersey, which is typically what championship-winning teams give the commander in-chief.

Astros owner Jim Crane, President Reid Ryan and General Manager Jeff Luhnow, along with players on last year's team, are expected to attend.

The team's former first base coach, Rich Dauer, will also attend after nearly dying after developing a blood clot near the brain just minutes after the team's World Series parade in November.
