June 25 (UPI) -- A 14-year-old girl fell 25 feet from the Sky Ride at Six Flags Great Escape in upstate New York, but she wasn't seriously injured, authorities said.
On Saturday, the unidentified teen from Greenwood, Del., was riding with a younger brother in a two-person gondola at the Queensbury park, about 55 miles north of Albany. Around 8 p.m., she fell out of the ride and was hanging onto the edge. She then let go, struck a tree, then fell into the arms of workers and guests.
