PLAISTOW, N.H., Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Three people died after a Plaistow, N.H., home filled with carbon monoxide leaking from the home's propane heat system, police said.
The homeowner was among the dead. A fourth person, found unresponsive in the home, survived and was transferred to Boston's Massachusetts General Hospital, the Boston Herald reported Wednesday.

Police did not identify the two men and one woman they found Tuesday, or the man who survived.
The police noted in a statement, "There was a carbon monoxide detector in the residence. However, its batteries had been removed."
