Obama schedule for Friday, Feb. 7

WASHINGTON, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- President Obama travels to Lansing, Mich., Friday to discuss the 2014 farm bill, then sign it into law, the daily schedule indicated.

The schedule said Obama would:

-- Receive, with Vice President Joe Biden, the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office.

-- Travel to Lansing, where he will tour the Michigan Biotechnology Institute before speaking about the importance of the farm bill at Michigan State University.

-- Sign the bill, the Agriculture Act of 2014, into law.

-- Return to Washington.
