LOCK HAVEN, Pa., Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Pennsylvania wildlife officials say it was a black bear that put an 18-year-old deer hunter in the hospital late Monday.
Camille Bomboy, 18, was attacked on her family's farm in Clinton County while stalking deer with a group of hunters and required surgery at a nearby hospital.

Bomboy suffered a gash on her head and several serious bites on her arms and shoulders, Pennlive.com said Tuesday.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission said it appeared Bomboy stumbled upon a mother bear and her cubs. The adult bear charged and knocked the young woman to the ground. Her stepfather managed to drive the angry animal away.
