More than 100 people, mostly young adults, were at the party when gunfire broke out about 11 p.m.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office said that one man and one woman were killed in the shooting.

Other victims suffered injuries ranging from serious to non-life threatening, Thomas Gilliland, sheriff's spokesman, told the Chronicle.

When deputies arrived at the scene, some people were found lying on the ground, while other party-goers were fleeing the scene, Gilliland said.

"It was a pretty chaotic scene," Gilliland said.

Authorities are still looking for two suspects in the shooting, the sheriff's office said.
