Biden to travel to Japan, China, South Korea next month

WASHINGTON, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- U.S. Vice President Joe Biden will travel to Japan, China and South Korea the first week of December, the White House said Monday.

In Tokyo, Biden will meet with leaders to discuss a range of issues, focusing on progress toward a Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement, building momentum on alliance goals, and discussing regional and global challenges, the White House said in a release.

In Beijing, Biden will meet with Chinese leaders to consult on global and regional issues of mutual interest.

In Seoul, the vice president will meet with leaders to address bilateral, regional and global challenges, including security threats.
