Castro -- sentenced last month to life in prison plus 1,000 years for the abductions years ago of Michelle Knight, Gina DeJesus and Amanda Berry -- was found Sept. 3 hanging in his cell at a prison facility in Orient, Ohio. In July, he pleaded guilty to 937 charges. He kidnapped and raped the women in his Seymour Avenue home for nearly a decade.

In May, neighbors and police helped rescue the three women, along with the daughter Castro fathered with one of the women. The women were abducted on separate occasions.
