Obama schedule for Tuesday, Aug. 6

WASHINGTON, Aug. 6 (UPI) -- President Obama visits Phoenix, where he will reveal his plan to restore security to homeownership to strengthen the middle class Tuesday, the White House said.

The daily agenda indicated Obama also will:

-- Tour Erickson Construction, which provides turnkey framing solutions for major homebuilders in the greater Phoenix, Sacramento and Reno markets.

-- Speak at Desert Vista High School about home ownership.

-- Depart Phoenix for Los Angeles, where he will tape an appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."

-- Remain overnight in Los Angeles.
