Police said the bus, which left Toronto in the early morning headed for Chicago, struck a tractor-trailer on Interstate 94 in Galesburg, near Kalamazoo. Ten passengers were also hurt, but officials said none was seriously injured.

A Kalamazoo Metro Transit bus took the uninjured passengers to the downtown transportation center, a Greyhound spokeswoman said. They waited for another Greyhound bus to take them to Chicago.

I-94 westbound was closed for a time after the crash.
