Obama to hold bilateral meeting with Turkish prime minister

WASHINGTON, May 16 (UPI) -- President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden will have a meeting with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan Thursday, the White House said.

The White House said the president's daily schedule indicated Obama also will:

-- Have a news conference in the Rose Garden with Erdogan.

-- Meet with senior advisers in the Oval Office.

-- Attend a working dinner with Erdogan.
