Wrestling's Jack Swagger to be tried in June on marijuana charges

GULFPORT, Miss., April 11 (UPI) -- The Gulfport, Miss., trial of wrestler Jack Swagger, accused of driving under the influence of marijuana, was set for June 25, court documents said.

Swagger, whose real name is Donald Jacob Hager, lost a championship match Sunday in New Jersey at World Wrestling Entertainment's "Wrestlemania 29."

He was arrested Feb. 19 after a wrestling event in Biloxi, Miss. Police found marijuana in his car after he was pulled over for speeding, and suspected he was driving under the influence of marijuana, the (Gulfport) Sun Herald reported Thursday.
