WASHINGTON, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- U.S. President Obama travels to Yangon, Myanmar, Monday, after his visit to Thailand, the White House said.
The daily schedule indicates Obama will:
-- Meet with Myanmar President Thein Sein.
-- Meet with former political prisoner Aung San Suu Kyi, general secretary of the National League of Democracy and now a legislator, at her residence.
-- Visit the U.S. Embassy.
-- Speak at the University of Yangon.
-- Depart Yangon for Phnom Penh, Cambodia, where he will meet with Prime Minister Hun Sen at the Peace Palace.
-- Attend a leaders meeting of the U.S.-Association of Southeast Asian Nations at the Peace Palace.
-- Arrive at Diamond Island Convention Center, where he will participate in the East Asian Summit Dinner.
-- Stay overnight in Phnom Penh.
