4-magnitude quake hits Northern California

SACRAMENTO, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- A 4-magnitude earthquake was reported about 3 miles from Petrolia, Calif., the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The quake, which was felt Friday night, was about 12 miles deep, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The epicenter was about 194 miles from Sacramento.

The Times didn't include any reports of damage or injuries.
