SIKESTON, Mo., Feb. 21 (UPI) -- A magnitude-4 earthquake shook southeastern Missouri Tuesday, officials said.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake, centered about 9 miles east of Sikeston, Mo., struck at 3:58 a.m.

Sikeston police said no damage or injuries were reported, The (St. Louis) Post-Dispatch reported.
The USGS said almost 300 people reported feeling shaking or swaying in Missouri as well as in Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Illinois and Tennessee.
