TOPEKA, Kan., Feb. 17 (UPI) -- A man detained after apparent explosive devices were found in his truck, parked illegally near a Kansas state office building, has been released, police said.
Patrick Saleh, a spokesman for the Capitol Police in Topeka, said investigators would discuss potential criminal charges with the Shawnee County District Attorney's Office to determine whether a criminal charge is appropriate, The Topeka Capital-Journal reported. But police do not believe the man, a Topeka resident, is a danger to society or likely to flee, Saleh said.
