The following are the dates for the 2012 Republican presidential primaries and their results. All are Tuesdays unless otherwise noted:


Jan. 3: Iowa caucus: (Unofficial) Mitt Romney 24.5 percent (30,015), Rick Santorum 24.5 percent (30,007), Ron Paul, 21.4 percent (26,219), Newt Gingrich 13.3 percent (16,251), Rick Perry 10.3 percent (12,604), Michele Bachmann, 5.0 percent (6,073), Jon Huntsman 0.6 percent (745), No Preference 0.1 percent (135), Other 0.1 percent (117), Herman Cain 0 percent (58).

Jan. 10: New Hampshire

Jan. 21: (Saturday): South Carolina

Jan. 31: Florida

Feb. 4 (Saturday): Nevada (caucus)

Feb. 4-10: Maine (caucus)

Feb. 7: Colorado (caucus), Minnesota (caucus), Missouri (non-delegate primary)

Feb. 28: Arizona, Michigan

March 3: (Saturday): Washington (caucus)
