Obama's schedule for Wednesday, Dec. 14

WASHINGTON, Dec. 14 (UPI) -- President Obama travels to Fort Bragg, N.C., Wednesday, where he and first lady Michelle Obama will speak to troops and military families, the White House said.

The daily schedule also indicates Obama will:

-- Receive the daily briefing with Vice President Joe Biden.

-- Travel to Fort Bragg with the first lady to speak to the troops and families on the sacrifices and achievements of the troops who served in the Iraq War and about the milestone of bringing the war in Iraq to a close.

-- Return to Washington, where he will attend a campaign event.
