WASHINGTON, July 14 (UPI) -- U.S. President Obama meets with congressional leaders Thursday for more discussions on how to reduce the nation's debt and deficit, the White House said.

The daily schedule indicates Obama will:

-- Receive, with Vice President Joe Biden, the daily briefing.

-- Meet with senior advisers.

-- Conduct interviews about the economy with local television outlets.

-- Meet, with Biden, with Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner.

-- Meet, with Biden, will congressional leadership to discuss deficit reduction.
