Authorities said parts of Ocean Parkway leading to the popular Jones Beach would be closed Monday while investigators with cadaver dogs searched the area.

The four women whose remains were found on Gilgo Beach were working as prostitutes and contacted by clients via Craigslist, authorities said.

The search at Oak Beach was initiation as part of a search for Shannan Gilbert of Jersey City, who as also working as a prostitute and last seen in the area last May, officials said.

Officials said tests on the Oak Beach body confirmed it was not Gilbert.

It is unknown presently if the remains are of a male or female, investigators said.
