Water back on at Indianapolis airport

INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Officials at Indianapolis International Airport say a water main break that left travelers without restrooms has been repaired.

The incident had left the facility's terminal without water or bathroom facilities, WISH-TV, Indianapolis, reported Thursday.

Contractors worked through the night to repair the airport's main water line after the break was discovered Wednesday evening, the Indianapolis Star reported.

Portable restrooms had been brought in, five on each level of the terminal building, the newspaper said.

Most food stands had continued operating, airport spokeswoman Susan Sullivan said, using either water remaining in the lines or bottled water.
