ST. PAUL, Minn., March 11 (UPI) -- Republican U.S. Senate candidate Norm Coleman's campaign in Minnesota says its computer security system has probably been breached.

Coleman campaign supporters Tuesday received e-mail from an anonymous party claiming that the person had obtained personal credit card information about them on Jan. 28 and was preparing to post the information on the Internet, the Washington publication The Hill reported.

The e-mail message reportedly came from an address at wikileaks.org. Coleman officials sent e-mail to supporters Wednesday saying it is probable the campaign's computer firewall security had been breached in January and urged them to cancel their credit cards.

"We contacted federal authorities at that time and they reviewed logs from the server in question as well as additional firewall logs," campaign manager Cullen Sheehan told The Hill. "They indicated that, after reviewing those logs, they did not find evidence that our database was downloaded by any unauthorized party."

Coleman is in court challenging Democrat Al Franken's apparent 225-vote win in Minnesota's Nov. 4 Senate race.
